The Rick Platis Memorial Scholarship began in 2022.
This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a Rome Free Academy senior who is active in band/music, sports (school or recreational), and church who will be attending a 4-year school (any major).

How to Apply
Start your journey
- Please submit a high school transcript with your application.
- Applications must be submitted to your high school guidance counselor by the due date.
- On a separate sheet of paper, please write a brief essay of approximately 200 words discussing your reasons for pursuing your chosen field of study/career. Also, please comment on how the scholarship for which you are applying will be financially beneficial to you in pursuit of your goals.
